Terms of use
Last updated 1 August 2026
By using the Excel in Economics portal you accept these terms. They are written to be read, not to be impressive.
What this is
A revision portal for school-level Economics: notes, practice questions drawn from past papers, and essay practice with feedback. It is free to use. There is no charge and no card required.
What we promise
We try hard to be accurate. Every question that reaches you has been checked against the exam board’s own mark scheme where one exists, and questions we cannot verify are held back rather than shown to you. Automated checks run before every release specifically to stop wrong answers and broken questions going live.
We cannot promise perfection. If you find a question whose answer looks wrong, use the “Flag an issue” button on the question. That goes straight to us and it is genuinely useful.
What we do not promise
- Your grade. This is practice material. It does not predict, guarantee or influence your result.
- Marks from essay feedback. Feedback on an essay is practice against the published band descriptors. It is not a real mark, it carries no weight with any exam board, and your teacher’s judgement beats it every time.
- Constant availability. The portal may be unavailable while we fix or improve it.
Exam board material
Past-paper questions, mark schemes and examiner reports remain the copyright of the exam boards that wrote them: Cambridge Assessment International Education, AQA, Pearson Edexcel, the International Baccalaureate and the College Board. They are used here for study, and we link to the boards’ own material rather than hosting what we should not. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any exam board.
Our own writing, meaning the notes, explanations and model answers, belongs to us. You are welcome to use it for your own study or teaching. You may not republish it as your own or sell it.
Using it sensibly
Do not try to break the portal, scrape it wholesale, or use it in a way that stops other students from using it. If you have an account, it is yours alone.
If we start charging
The portal is free today. If a paid tier is ever introduced, anything you already have access to stays free to you, and you will be told clearly before anything costs money.
Ending it
You can stop using the portal at any time, and ask us to delete your account. We may close an account that is being used to damage the service or other students’ use of it.
